We live in an increasingly busy and frantic world. Modern technology has not given us any more time but simply filled every moment with something to do. How many times have we said that there are never enough hours in a day? Most of us probably feel that time is running out and we wonder as to how we are going to get everything done.
The business of worrying as to whether we have sufficient time to complete all that we intend to do, often robs us of time itself.
Lloyd Mattson says, “Calm takes over when you discover that the Christian’s life is inviolate until God’s purpose is fulfilled. That is neither fatalism nor a spiritualised shunning of responsibility. In a hurry up world, this philosophy offers the only peaceful course. What time is it? Time enough for all God asks - time for Him and others”.
As Psalm 90:12 says, ‘Teach us to order our days rightly, that we may enter the gate of wisdom’.
This website is an expression of our Christian values as contained in the Bible, that of honesty, integrity and morality. The Bible also speaks of the love and goodness of God as shown in Jesus Christ.
However, we do not take this opportunity to ‘preach’ but simply remind you that God our Creator is interested in all that happens to us and we pray that you may know something of the calm and peace that God intends for all His creation.
